Mircolot 2265 – 厭氧日曬

香港從來不是一個咖啡生產區域,但仍適合種植某些品種,如阿拉比卡卡圖拉。位於粉嶺的OFarm於2001年偶然開始種植咖啡樹。2020年,seedtocuphk 啡農開始嘗試處理收成並探索在香港種植的咖啡風味。

啡農集中研究厭氧發酵, 希望為香港咖啡帶來獨特風味。

香港氣候比較潮濕, 即使冬季都會有落雨既日子, 令到日曬處理比較難做. 但日曬作為最傳統處理法之一, 啡農都盡量利用自然陽光, 再以乾果機輔助, 希望減少風險同保留一些本土風味.

Hong Kong was never a coffee production region, but it is still suitable for growing certain varieties like arabica caturra. Located in Fanling, OFarm began planting coffee trees by accident in 2001. In 2020, a new brand called seedtocuphk 啡農 attempted to process the harvests and explore the flavor of coffee grown in Hong Kong.

The climate in Hong Kong is relatively humid, with rainy days even in winter, which makes natural processing challenging. However, natural processing is one of the most traditional coffee processing methods. I try to utilize natural sunlight as much as possible, supplemented by drying machines, to reduce risks and preserve some local flavors.
